My life. My family. Thursday, August 21, 2008. End of Summer Blues. We had a wonderful summer but it was way too short. It started out with A. Pril and Amy staying with us while April 'rested' after her heart. Surgery. Rest is not a word April is familiar with on very intimate terms. Even when her body says, "Stop", her mind is still going. Hopefully sh. E was able to slow down enough while she was with us to let her body recuperate, at least more than. At the end of June we went to Washington where.

My life. My family. Saturday, October 4, 2008. Grandmother is all it's cracked up to be. Seeing little Evie for the first time and knowing she is mine, a generation an. D a delivery once removed, is indescribable joy. It's so much easier having a grandchild than a child. Evie is beautiful. She wasn't due to arrive until the first of October, but she is a healthy, good-sized little girl with a head full of dark hair. What a joy to behold. Labels: Grandma meets Evie. Danyka opened her Valentine's cards and read each one carefully. She laid each one out on the kitchen table where she could admire them all as she enjoyed the candy that came with them.
