Although each piece looks the same, they all have a different pattern. The surface decoration in this work is very spontaneous and definately follows the form. Sunday, October 10, 2010. These are wheel thrown vases, marbled. They all have bulbous bodies that taper into thin necks. Ariel Bowman . I make sculptures of prehistoric animals that represent the wonder to be found in natural history. I am intrigued by animals that evolved with distinct features, such as unfamiliar tusks, strange elongated limbs, and unusual proportions.
