                                        Wednesday, July 08, 2009. One main difference: less liquid = more flavor! This lasagna was made mostly from scratch (everything except the noodles). I also used fresh parsley in the crumbles, the sauce, and on top and I think that made a difference. 1 28 oz can tomatoes. 1 can tomato paste. 1-2 cloves garlic, minced. 1-2 Tbsp olive oil. Note- This is a SWEET salad. If you want less sweetness, cut back the grapes or cranberries. I think the balance is nice, but you may want to add more mayo or heat. So.Pho and Spring Rolls they had. 1 small unpeeled onion, quartered. 2 unpeeled shallots, halved (can also use more onion). 8 garlic cloves, halved. A 1-inch piece of ginger, coarsely sliced. Two 3-inch cinnamon sticks. 2 pods of star anise. 8 cups clear vegetable stock. 3 tablespoons soy sauce. For the soup . About 1 pound rice noodles (I use less). 6 scallions, thinly sliced.
