Sunday, August 28, 2011. Our original plan for vacation was to sandwich a trip to Cape Cod (specifically: Sandwich, MA) in between two weekends at Alexander's Lake. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irene threw a wrench into that plan, and our 2nd slice of Lake time had to be cut short. Saturday, May 19, 2012. Mother Nature treated us to a great of weekend of weather for Mother's Day. So, after three straight busy weekends (birthdays, birthdays, birthdays), we decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing weekend at home. Saturday, February 19, 2011. Father / Daughter Dance. Last night Bill and Millie went to their first dance together. It was the Girl Scout "Sweetheart Dance". Millie was excited to wear her ultra fancy silk crazy pink dress. When Bill gave her the option of "tie, or no tie" she decisively said "TIE" and so he wore a suit and tie for her. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Cute for a Cure! I’ve made a lot of Cupcake Pops. Bunches. But these are the first ones that could make a difference. I started out making some with brown bottoms. Then I threw in some white ones. And lastly, a little purple. Then, I sprinkled them with a little bit of red and a lot of love. Voila An army of cuteness. They’re getting ready for battle. Here they are getting dressed for the occasion. And, it’s an important one. Each year, American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
