The initial plan was to take a direct flight from Nairobi to Atlanta then on to Salt Lake. That was not how it worked out. For some reason the US State Department decided not to authorize Delta to operate the direct flight to Nairobi. Delta changed our trip to Nairobi to Dubai, Dubai to Atlanta then to Salt Lake. This trip would take 33 hours 23 of them in the air.

Have you ever been fishing with a chunk of wood when there is no fish? Well if you haven’t, you should try, it’s so much fun…. It was a sunny afternoon in Lemarti’s camp so we decided to go fishing in the river. When we arrived we were given a chunk of wood with a string and some corn on a hook. So it’s different, but sounds fun, right! We can just go shower!

We were guests in Camp Recero in the Maasai Mara when my 49. It smelled like, trying to be polite here, CRAP! Well, that is because it was elephant dung.
