The Story So Far. Journalists paint slums in Uganda. August 4, 2014. Paint Slums Bright is an innovative project that will be implemented in the Ugandan town of Jinja 9th to 16th August. 100 houses in the city’s slum areas will be painted in vivid colors. The aim is to create optimism among the inhabitants of the slums. The promoters are journalists involved in the Ugandan media network Busoga Media Link (Bumeli).
