Arizona On The Road. Saturday, November 21, 2015. Mingus Mountain is located in the Prescott National Forest of North Central Arizona. Mingus mountain is used by hand gliders as a launch point with elevation of 7800'. There are several religious retreats located on the west side of the mountain. There was a reported alien snowman seen hanging around some of the rock piles alone the road. West access through Prescott Az. is car capable but don't try it from the East side.
