But Patsy and me wernt hurt we were at ma and pa gorenhoffs playing pool and the logging company have given us enogh bucks to get the shack even better than it was before AND stay in the benton hotel for 3 weeks with evrything paid so we reckon this is a real peice of luck! First time i was at oaklawn i lived on the 50c corned beef sandwiches they say they are still 50c but last year i joined the oaklawn Club so now Patsy and me cuold go there every day for realy good eating. That was good and then best of all although i only broke even Patsy came out $450 dollars ahead! I was happy because i know she has almost no money but then she gave $400 to the sunami Relief Fund! Luke is busy checking over our little convoy of three 4x4s so that we don't have any trouble on the journey. The mockingbird and the hummingbee are me. Long time no blog. Life has been so hetcic for patsy and me that i havnt even opend my pc for months! Since uncle herman came thruogh we have been able to get folks to do all the work aruond the house so we have time to do more intresting things wich is not just having fun but doing good to. For a start patsy and me go aruond 3 days every week with a pickup taking food and cloths and stuff to famlies who dont have nothing and its amazing how many there are.
