The word stems from the ancient word "unagi" dating back to the hit TV show Friends. Meaning "a state of total awareness". However, the Japanese claim that the word originated with them and that it means "eel" or something, but they are liars, obviously. Jen and I really enjoyed ourselves and everything was perfect, just like our little Sadie! This is a VERY cute hanging picture to put in Sadie's room. These will be the colors of her nursery! Wednesday, August 6, 2008. I know most of you think that the baby in the top right is a real, live feed of our baby, but it's not. It's just a computer program. But rest assured, because today we went to the doctor for the first time, and finally got to see our baby and got pictures for everyone to see! It's still too early to confirm, but we're still certain it's a boy (and his name will be Jack Ryan). He was very active! I think he knew exactly what was going on! Here's our little guy taking it easy!

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. It is with tear-filled eyes that I announce the birth of our baby girl. But don't be alarmed. Sadie Suzette ("Sadie Sue") is a perfectly healthy, perfectly amazing gift. These tears are of pure joy. Happiness. Excitement. Disbelief. Disbelief that I could love this tiny little girl so much! Pictures of our 8lb 20" little girl will come soon! Monday, September 22, 2008. OH BOY.It's a GIRL? Welp, we were so sure we were having a boy, but were very pleasantly surprised Friday afternoon when the ultrasound showed us our little girl!
