The Armbruster Asylum

Welcome to The Asylum! Check back frequently to read up on our mental progress. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. For almost eight years I have been working on my pie crust-making skills. I recall my initial experiences ending with me in the fetal position on the kitchen floor. Today, the finales are much more honorable! Recently, I spent the afternoon at my grandma's house to absorb some of her crust-making tips. Here was the outcome of my first attempt following Grandma's expert tutelage:. 3 There are no corn...

The Armbruster Asylum: 2010 ... what the ???

http://www.armbrusterasylum.blogspot.com/2010/10/2010-what.html

Welcome to The Asylum! Check back frequently to read up on our mental progress. Monday, October 11, 2010. This year is quickly coming to a close. The evidence is on shelves at Cost Plus where Christmas decorations started emerging in September. Hmm. I'm I guess I'm okay with skipping Halloween altogether. I know A would be because he never wants to partake in any of my couples' costume ideas. He's crazy to think it wouldn't be TOTALLY AWESOME to dress as bread and butter. Come on! Bring it, 2011! I am a ...

The Armbruster Asylum: March 2008

http://www.armbrusterasylum.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

Welcome to The Asylum! Check back frequently to read up on our mental progress. Thursday, March 20, 2008. We just finished our last day of clinical on the pediatrics floor! Section 11 at clinical conference. Kym, Katie and Ada outside UCDMC . a happy walk to the car. Sunday, March 16, 2008. Earlier this year, a storm blew down a section of our fence. I was thankful for the minor disaster because now we have a gate that works properly. And, PART of our fence looks nice and fresh! It got the job done!

The Armbruster Asylum: Yes! Controlled Substances Please

http://www.armbrusterasylum.blogspot.com/2009/09/yes-controlled-substances-please.html

Welcome to The Asylum! Check back frequently to read up on our mental progress. Monday, September 7, 2009. I'm sure there were instances it may have worked to my advantage. Perhaps it helped me avoid placing a patient in a dangerous situation. (Safety first! It's my top priority as a nurse. I know I'm overly cautious compared to many nurses.) I realize it's also possible a patient had to bear undue distress because of my hesitation to administer an assistive drug(s). Very interesting and educational post!

Lee Family Blog: November 2008

http://atleeblog.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Our year-round "Christmas letter". Sunday, November 23, 2008. A little over a week ago our little Evey turned 18 months! She is in such a fun stage (but really she has always been so fun, it's just her personality). We saw Dr. Tran this week and she said Evey is doing great! Her height has caught back up with her weight, she's now 25th percentile in both. Other 18 month happenings:. She is talking/gabbering up a storm. She's great at sharing:). RUNS around stores, she keeps us on our toes.

http://atleeblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/sick-girl.html

Our year-round "Christmas letter". Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Momma's home with Evey today because she is sick. It's really miserable when a toddler has the stomach flu. Laying on blankets on the living room floor, watching Elmo. Cuddled up on the bed (finally able to keep food down) watching Baby Einstein while mom blogs :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://atleeblog.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Our year-round "Christmas letter". Monday, July 14, 2008. So, it's been two months now since I posted on this blog. A lot happens in two months for a one-year-old. Especially since it is summer vacation, we've been doing a ton of fun stuff. After Andy finished the school year we trekked up to the Bay Area (San Jose) to spend about a week and a half to visit with my mom and family. We went to the park, went swimming, and spent an evening at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We had so much fun!
