Ramblings of a PR Student. Saturday, May 31, 2014. You don't have to like people. I've learned that if you want to be in PR, you don't have to like people. That sounds bad, but it's true. In my principles of public relations course at Lee University, a question that was asked is why are you interested in public relations. More often than not this was the answer, "I like people."
