Exciting news and Giving Back. Dec 16th, 2013 at 8:51 PM. First of all, my exciting news! I received and email this afternoon from Nuun. Or should I say afterNUUN? I am excited to announce that I have been selected to be a Nuun Ambassador for 2014! And now for the giving back part of the title. Today began what is oftentimes the most fun part of the year for us Army Musicians. Its the time of year when we get to say Thanks! Leukemia and lymphoma society. Oatmeal in a jar. You make my day award.

Oct 3rd, 2013 at 8:29 AM. Its been a week since I was diagnosed with a stress fracture in my tibia just below my right knee. Yes, it sucks that Im injured and I cant run or jump or march for at least 30 days, but I have a lot to be thankful for despite being injured. Im thankful that its just a minor injury! We caught it right at the beginning and its so minor that it didnt show up on the x-ray, only the MRI. There is also no ligament or tendon damage! Im thankful for cross training! Thats going to be me!

My goal is not to run 2014 miles, but 2014 kilometers which equals roughly 1250 miles - definitely doable for me with marathon training and training for the 2015 Disney World Dopey Challenge. Dec 8th, 2013 at 9:19 PM. 1 - My awesome husband Ryan. He supports me in all my crazy endeavors and is an awesome daddy to our two boys. I know I dont thank him enough for all he does, but without him, I wouldnt be where I am today. I love you, Sweetie! 2 - My older son Robert. Hes your typical super-active 9 year old and although sometimes he does things without thinking and making us upset at him, hes an awesome kid and Im glad he gave me the title of Mommy. 3 - My younger son Thomas. 4 - My parents.
