A Rose in God's Garden Photography: Fabulous Nails
http://aroseingodsgardenphotos.blogspot.com/2011/09/fabulous-nails.html
I have a friend who loves painting nails. She's pretty awesome at it. I've never really gotten into nail polish since I have to keep my nails short and clean for playing piano. But my friend has given me a number of fun "manicures" which I've loved. She's given me strawberry nails:. These pics were taken after most of the nail polish had rubbed off). And even blue roses:. Do you like painting nails? September 18, 2011 at 7:55 PM. October 19, 2011 at 7:48 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

So, there's a photo contest at "life is too short not to wear red shoes," and it's just too good to pass up. The theme is portraits. I don't do many of these, but I would love to do them more often. Below are my two favorites! 3 Remarks. add yours! The Budding of a Flower. There's a flowering tree that I pass pretty much every morning on my way to classes. Each morning I had to stop and document yet another development in the budding of its flowers. First, came the soft-as-cotton buds:. Color, or b&w?
A Rose in God's Garden Photography: Name that flower

I think I'm a compulsive flower photographer. When I see a flower I haven't taken a picture of before (or even one I have! I whip out the camera to find the perfect angle on it. Does anyone know what kind of flower these are? I found a pot of them in my Granny's garden, and they are simply gorgeous! Linking the above photo to:. What about these flowers? Can you guess from the silhouette? I think it's amazing how many different kinds of flowers God has made. September 5, 2011 at 10:09 AM. I look for beaut...

This is What Inspires Me. Olive Tree is having a photography contest with the theme of inspiration. Here are my two entries:. I love this picture. It reminds me of the verse from Hebrews "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2). 8 Remarks. add yours! Cooling our feet in the water. On our last outing we also saw a family of swans! The theme...

Four Seasons in One. I would never have thought it possible. How in the world could I capture a picture that accurately shows all four of the seasons at the same time? But yet, on the first day of this year, I found one:. This is SOOC, only the contrast is upped a little.). Spring on the left, with the dripping water and ivy, Summer next to it, with the green yew bush, autumn next right, with the brown leaves suspended in the bush, and then winter on the very right, with the bright snow. 17 I Miss You.

I know it's yet again been a while since I last wrote but I have been so sick! This baby has been kicking my butt. If I'm not feeling really sick, I'm bent over the toilet spewing my gutts to the toilet gods. It's worse this time around than with my first 4! Anyways, At least now I can check in on Facebook or my forums that I'm apart of.
