A floresta Amazônica perdeu 312,6 km² em junho de 2011, o que representa 17% de desmate, maior que o registrado em maio deste ano. A informação foi divulgada pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (Inpe) nesta terça-feira, 2 de agosto.
