It is not easy to reach mainland hospitals from Arran, especially if you are worried, tired, feeling unwell. Our drivers will meet you at Ardrossan, take you in a comfortable car to the hospital where you have your appointment, wait there or come back for you, and take you back to the ferry. Transport can also be arranged on Arran to and from the Ferry terminal. To access this service. Leave a message on the answerphone if there is no reply and your call will be returned promptly.

Are you self employed, a seasonal worker, or just worried about the cost of ferry travel for hospital appointments especially for a sustained course of treatment? We provide Ferry Travel Warrants for people not in possession of a Ferry Pass. Present it at the Brodick Calmac office when travelling in exchange for your passenger ticket. Car tickets are not included as we provide an escorted transport service from Ardrossan to the various hospitals. Ask your GP for an ArCaS Ferry Travel Warrant.

Our Charity Shop is located at Pier Buildings, Brodick and is open Monday to Saturday 11am to 4 pm. Donations are welcome of good quality clothing, bric a brac in good condition, working small electrical items, books, CDs and DVDs, small equipment in good condition for babies and children, usable toys, good quality and functioning kitchenware and other household items, good condition sports equipment.
