Art and creativity – why? Asymp; 1 Comment. I like everything to have a meaningful purpose and my favourite word is, a bit irritatingly for some, ‘why’. Also known as ‘the point’. So of course, I extend this fruitless pursuit to creativity and art. I am prone to responding to most things I come across with ‘does the world really need this piece of (insert type of creative interface here)? It’s about doing what is in your heart. Here’s a sample of Klaus Pichler. 8216;s stunning work. 8216;One Third’ is a series of photographs that captures decaying food presented as still lifes, commenting on the statistic that households throw away a third of the food it uses. Asymp; Leave a comment. Saw this guy in London a few weeks ago, taking his parrots for a stroll through Kensington (ironically whilst I was on my way to the Natural History Museum).
