Art for the Class: January 2016

http://artfortheclass.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html

Art for the Class. We made these adorable creations for Grandparent's Day last year. The grandparents loved reading about the top three reasons they were loved and they made our assembly hall look terrific. Here are just a few:. My teaching partner found the templates HERE. Australia Day Art Lesson. I am already thinking about artwork for my first week or two back after summer holidays. I am planning a short unit of work on " Why I Love Australia. I want the students to draw something that is inspired by...

http://artfortheclass.blogspot.com/2016_02_01_archive.html

I asked them to make sure their capital letters filled the entire page space and to squash them together to make spaces to shade between. We then used oil pastel to colour each section to create a vibrant design. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I have ...

Art for the Class: Seahorse Art Project

http://artfortheclass.blogspot.com/2015/06/seahorse-art-project.html

Art for the Class. Here is a lesson I did in 2014. We did a directed drawing of a seahorse as part of a marine / ocean unit of work. I just directed the students to draw a seahorse using an illustration I found in a picture book - but if you need more step-by-step details, you may find one on Pinterest. This lesson is a good example of one where your best laid plans end up changing. We used crepe paper scraps and water to achieve a sea textured background. Have a wonderful day! My name is Mrs Lloyd. ...
