Monday, 17 March 2014. Yup - got the day off today hence the 3rd post of the day! Over at Totally Tilda Challenge. Blog there theme this week is Anything but a square creation. I have used the Sizzix Ornate frame to create a card for any occasion. My new tilda stamp was coloured in Copics and the paper used are by Best Creations available from Grimsby Crafts. Here are two cards using stamps from the set but completely different techniques. The background for the second card is a gelli print. Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Oh well this will be my first attempt at a Magnolia Challenge, so fingers crossed eh. I have painted the Baby Tilda using water colour paints, had them for my 40th birthday and have hardly used them so thought I would give it a go. I am very pleased with the results. Have decorated her a little with my Diamond Glitter Stickle, and some Transparet Embossing Powder on the wings, which I just leave without heating it up. Saturday, 5 February 2011. I have created this card from my new Forever Friends Black and Gold CD. It has some lovely images and ideas on it. I have printed the backing papers, and cut to fit the card. Then printed and cut out the cute little Forever Friend bear which I have added my friends name on to the little tag on the box of chocs. A girl, a city, a blog. October 21, 2012. Yes, I know I’ve been woefully absent. But my friends went apple picking, possibly my favorite thing about the North East, and now I have heaps of apples. HEAPS. Which clearly means that I must make apple sauce (and apple butter, and apple pie and oh dear god so much apple). Mom’s Apple Sauce. 3 lbs apples (want an assortment of crisp, flavorful ones, mushier ones (like red delicious) and a few tart ones). 1-1-1/2 T lemon juice (depending on tartness of apples).
