DoodleForm :: Nathu Nash'ath: Bedroom Interior
http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2010/09/bedroom-interior.html
Friday, September 24, 2010. Interior visuals for a friend who's obsessed with wood. Modeled and mapped in Sketchup. Rendered in Artlantis. I started out this blog to post my work here - paintings, photos, sketches and such. In time it is also becoming a storage space for ideas, thoughts and inspirations as well. I'd like to think of it as a portfolio. I studied architecture, but I'm also interested in all forms of art, culture, tradition and all possibilities of this amazing digital age. As I Go Wondering.

Made in Maldives: September 2006
http://madeinmaldives.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 29, 2006. A remark on Arts in the Maldives. As a maldivian, and as an aspiting artist myself (visit my gallery. I thought we were quite creative. In general there is good taste amongst us. I am thankful that we can distinguish readily the ‘. Katu’ and ‘ ori. 8217; type of styles. But when we take a closer look at the visual arts, there is a whole different story to it. We are indeed ‘ katu. 8217; and ‘ ori. 8217; Why else would we be making copies of Hindi movies and Hindi songs? To exp...

DoodleForm :: Nathu Nash'ath: Gaadiyaa
http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2010/10/gaadiyaa.html
Thursday, October 7, 2010. Gaadiyya is the Maldivian local term for cart. It used to have the same function as any other cart - carry goods from one place to the other. It always had two wheels around the middle for it to move, two legs when it needed to be parked and two handles to pull it. Then there is of course the cargo compartment. Interestingly, it always had yellow as its colour. Gaadiyaas have the potential to become something more than what it currently is. They could contribute to the aest...

DoodleForm :: Nathu Nash'ath: Bath Interior
http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2010/09/bath-interior.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. There's not much of a design here. The owner had bath fittings selected. It's more to do with 3D rendering. There's too little of ceiling in the view, and so it's made to reflect on the walls to give an overview of how the space is like. I started out this blog to post my work here - paintings, photos, sketches and such. In time it is also becoming a storage space for ideas, thoughts and inspirations as well. I'd like to think of it as a portfolio. As I Go Wondering.

DoodleForm :: Nathu Nash'ath: Gaadiyaa Concept
http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2010/10/gaadiyaa-concept.html
Tuesday, October 12, 2010. The concept here is to transform the Gaadiyaa into something that attracts people and contributes to the aesthetics of the city. But not to transform it in way that it would lose the identity of Gaadiyaa. The idea is to keep it recognizable, function with ease, more space to work with while in operation and close it into a simple box when not. There's so much more that could be achieved with experimenting. Presented here is just one simple possibility. As I Go Wondering.

http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2010/10/cafe-alfresco-adversitement.html
Saturday, October 16, 2010. Here's a little advertisement concept developed for Cafe' Alfresco. Inspired by some the graphic novels that I've been recently reading, the ad is done in the form a short story. Click on the image to download a PDF of the ad. I started out this blog to post my work here - paintings, photos, sketches and such. In time it is also becoming a storage space for ideas, thoughts and inspirations as well. I'd like to think of it as a portfolio. View thumbnail gallery on Facebook.

DoodleForm :: Nathu Nash'ath: Sadly Exciting
http://doodleform.blogspot.com/2011/05/sadly-exciting.html
Saturday, May 7, 2011. Been an awfully long time since I did my last post. Always wanted to keep posting new things. There are lots of things that keeps me inspired and lots that keep me held up as well. It's a exciting time in a very sad kind of way. It's a historic time because it's a transitional time. It's not a pleasant time to live in but an honourable time. I studied architecture, but I'm also interested in all forms of art, culture, tradition and all possibilities of this amazing digital age.
