I think that is by William Adolphe Bougereau? One of MY favorites of all artists ever. Along with Jean Leon Gerome (and earlier Jacques Louis David) I find this period of art the most impressive in the world. The only period I might like more might be the Dutch 17th century, as it looked like the best time to be alive ever. Pasha.
