Http:/ video.google.com/videoplay? See his interview at the end of the film mentioned previously for some more inspirational words on how we can be successful in life. Friendly Notes...: July 2009
http://cindysdesk.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. Pride and Prejudice a Latter Day Comedy". I enjoyed these films but I was disapointed in the fact that the "LDS" film kept showing the midriff of the main character about an 1". I know it's not much but I'd appreciate more support for modesty from LDS film makers. Http:/ www.imdb.com/title/tt0403237/. Nathan laughed a lot with this one. Rich is still analizing it. I've just gotta laugh. It was a nice movie. I rented the above films from the LDS book store). Find it at the library).

Friendly Notes...: January 2009

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. I finally chose to become an independant consultant. I found a product that I think is very good, SCENTSY. My family is very supportive. Rich and children love that we have our own warmers and scents (I'm usually too frugal for candles). Currently, I'm deciding just how much time and money to put in to this project. I would love to be your consultant too! How is that for a plug? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Remember to Smell the Roses! Arthur Berry and Associates.

Sunday, August 31, 2008. I recently had the privilege of learning about Foyer De Sion. A nonprofit privately ran orphanage in Haiti. The people I've spoken with have been their and a very honest. Please take a moment to learn about this special place. This orphanage is undertaking a great task to house and feed the homeless children of Haiti. The director is working to build a permanent structure. If you look at any photos of the city you can see that is not an option at the moment. What can you do?

Friendly Notes...: Winter 2009 Movie Reviews
http://cindysdesk.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-2009-movie-reviews.html
Monday, January 4, 2010. Winter 2009 Movie Reviews. This movie came highly recommended to me. It goes through many of the scenarios experienced by men in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I didn't feel as hyped about it because it seemed so everyday. It is well done and I think people outside of our faith may understand it even if they don't understand the depth of its meaning us. Http:/ www.imdb.com/title/tt1295085/. Something the Lord Has Made. Friendly Notes...: "Saawariya"
http://cindysdesk.blogspot.com/2010/05/saawariya.html
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. I recently watched the romantic foreign film "Saawariya.". The film is unique. It is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's "White Nights". It reminded me of an early musical, but with a definite Eastern flair. The lights and colors were similar to Disney's "Alladin". The music had a techno-ether-world feel. I say ether because of its lighter than air sound. It's a great date movie if you like its style. PG-best suited for adults. More reviews can be seen at. Remember to Smell the Roses!

Monday, April 26, 2010. Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles". Another film by the Zhang Yimou the director of "The Road Home.". I really enjoyed watching another of Zhang Yimou's films. It's a modern day story filled with deep and poetic meaning. The landscapes are breathtaking. You definitely want a box of tissues for this one. Http:/ www.imdb.com/title/tt0437447/. Friendly Notes...: T.V. Show Reviews
http://cindysdesk.blogspot.com/2010/01/tv-show-reviews.html
Monday, January 4, 2010. We recently watched the third season of "Dr Who". We skipped the one on Shakespeare. We enjoyed watching the main characters. Some of the stories are a bit suspenseful and scary. I couldn't handle watching them all, but they're great science fiction/action pieces. A classmate recommended this show. It's very funny! Unfortunately, the girl doesn't always dress well. Also, there are swear words, sexual innuendos and such. I've decided it must be PG-13. While You Were Away,.
