Sunday, July 1, 2012. Sunset at Sunset Beach. Friday evening we had family night at church - only it wasn't at church; it was at Sunset Beach. We watched the sun set and it was so beautiful! We ended the night with some Blue Seal ice cream. We had a lot of fun. Enjoy the pics - I'm really happy with how many awesome ones we got! Sunday, July 29, 2012. Dates with Elora during VBS. We had a fantastically busy week - those are the best. The boys had VBS in the mornings. Elora and I had coffee/chocolate milk dates and cleaned the house while they were gone. It was nice, since it was on Kinser and literally a five minute walk from our door. I got about half of the house scrubbed down and organized - and the best part is, it's stayed that way so far! So hopefully they last him all season! Im watching the Olympics too! Not much put on.

Thursday, July 19, 2012. Soveig to leave us :(. So although we're so sad to see Solveig go back to America, it means we're one step closer to Daddy coming home :). I would post a pic from yesterday but apparently Blogger has a limit to how many pictures you can post. and I haven't looked into how much it is to buy more space. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. I am always flabbergasted when I talk with friends and they inform me that they NEVER go to the beach. I mean, we practically LIVE at the beach. I really don't think the midwest will ever be the same after three years here - the Mississippi River just won't cut it! We went to Tropical beach and Maximus spent the ENTIRE time catching crabs, fish, shrimp and even an tiny little eel! The boys absolutely love nature :) They even found an octopus while exploring the reef with Solveig!

Before Nic left I remember feeling sick to my stomach just thinking about him leaving. and now that we are approaching the end I'm experiencing the same . anticipation. Different, but the same. If I'm not careful, the anticipation will wear me thin. So, if I'm never in the middle of something, then I can always hold her and she won't throw fits :) Yes, not an ideal way to live - but for short-term sanity, I will sacrifice :). C, Elle and Parker.

Monday, July 2, 2012. Sunset Beach in the Day. We went to Sunset Beach on Saturday to enjoy the beautiful weather - Maximus really wanted to catch some fish with his net and jar. He spent basically the ENTIRE time doing just that. I think I got him to play catch with me with the football for a while though. We had such a great time! Elora's hair is getting so blonde! These 3 spent a lot of time pretending to be alligators or lions or sharks :). The boys are looking for fish! Trying to catch the fish.
