Birds, nature and the environment welcome here. Send your leftover candy to . Today is one of my favorite days of the year. Not what you probably think. I didn’t think so. The reason I like this day so much is that I get to show off all night. Every time someone bangs on the door or yells, “Trick or Treat! 8221; I bark and carry on like it’s the Rapture. As a special bonus, sometimes I scare someone, and they run away. I got yelled at, but so what? Exxon Chairman and CEO, Lee Raymond. OK Here goes. M...

Wimpling Wings: Yesterday
http://wimplingwings.blogspot.com/2006/09/yesterday.html
Birds, nature and the environment welcome here. In September this week. A stiff breeze swept the lake into whitecaps and threw sand in our eyes. Undeterred we walked down to the shore to spy any birds who might like their picture taken and to see of the lake had produced any treasures. I love the lake 365 days a year. Still, clammy ninety-degree heat is problematic, and extreme cold and wind make you glad you own longjohns and fat mittens, but they won't keep me away. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://wimplingwings.blogspot.com/2015/07/happy-birthday-dad.html
Birds, nature and the environment welcome here. Happy Birthday, Dad! Would have been my father’s 100. Birthday. If he were here – and who’s to say that he isn’t – he’d love turning 100, because in spite life socking it to him too many times, he was an optimist. 8220;The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha. Was one of his favorite songs. While Knute Rockne was making his legacy in the 1920s, radio was the hot new medium, and the ND Fighting Irish became the first ‘America’s team’. 8220;Hey, kid, how d...

Wimpling Wings: RAM tough
http://wimplingwings.blogspot.com/2006/09/ram-tough.html
Birds, nature and the environment welcome here. I enjoy feeling cranky once in a while. Today has given me several opportunities to indulge. It’s not exactly one of “those” days, but a heavy offering of Me-Me-Me! Syndrome has presented itself. Ha ha Are you laughing yet? There is a squiggly red line under the second ‘ha’. That’s annoying me, too.). Last, I'd like to recognize the Mercedes SUV which awaited my removal of myself and my car from a desirable parking space. The driver - license plate R...

Birds, nature and the environment welcome here. PITA Parents in the Halls of Ivy. Refuse to surrender even their college-age children. What used to be a right of passage - leaving home and Mother - has gone the way of the dodo apparently. I've heard tales from time to time about kids shipping their laundry home or faxing Mom assignments expecting a return with the completed work. A freak occurrance," I thought. And we were on our own. Child abuse! Have you ever tried. Being more than a little German - it...
