Friday, December 3, 2010. The Bells of Kallandra. He gazed down at the sprawling city of. The wind blew harder, beginning to howl through the trees. Vegar’s eyes turned to slits as he scanned the sky. A storm was blowing in. Great gray clouds cloaked the horizon, coming closer. Rain began to lash the mountain. Below, he could see the tiny dots that were his fellow beings rushing into their dwellings as the constabulary gathered in the town square. A shadow fell across the city. Vegar’s eyes...Shifting hi...

Todd Fischer's Stories: One Fine Night in Dunwich
http://stories.todd-fischer.com/2010/12/one-fine-night-in-dunwich.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. One Fine Night in Dunwich. Based on characters and situations from the game The Hills Rise Wild! 2000 Jesper Myrfors and John Tynes. The body of Captain Obed Marsh, barely recognizable in its tattered and blood soaked oilskin coat, hung heavily from an oak tree. The Captain was caught by a booted foot and was swinging slightly in the breeze, his webbed hands almost reaching the deep green grass below him. As he entered the room he saw Fortune marching towards the. The barrels on...

Todd Fischer's Stories: December 2010
http://stories.todd-fischer.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. The Revelations of Alexander Dyer. We all got along tolerably well during our training exercises and soon, before we knew it, we were ready to embark. Our destination was the star Polaris in the constellation of the Little Dipper; other Dyer-Ratho Tech ships would be heading for other stars, Polaris was ours. The journey took many months, during which time we mapped any and all heavenly bodies that we passed. After Fred Ratho and Cyril Carter brought it aboard for study we set it.

Todd Fischer's Stories: The Maleficent Seven (Or, Cthulhu and Indians)
http://stories.todd-fischer.com/2010/12/maleficent-seven-or-cthulhu-and-indians.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. The Maleficent Seven (Or, Cthulhu and Indians). It was high noon. Cthugha leered down from its perch in the sky, baking the dusty ground with intense heat. Gonna be a scorcher," said Cthulhu, rubbing his bald head. He looked for a moment at the sweat collected on his hand, then wiped it on the leg of his black jeans. He leaned back against a rotting fence post, his tentacles restless reaching down towards the six-shooters slung on his hips, then redrawing. Burpled the Dagon Kid.

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I am awake but sore need sleep". I am awake but sore need sleep. Low down my spirits ever deep. Awake, abed, is all the same. As if sweet Nodens never came. I fight to move, to stay alert. But elan is dead, I stay inert. Posted by Todd H. C. Fischer. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. By Todd H C Fischer, June 2015. Skalds spread the call. To high cliffs hall. Todd Fischer's Poetry: Extract from Ulf-Krakasaga
http://poetry.todd-fischer.com/2015/08/extract-from-ulf-krakasaga.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. Seven went to swan-road seeking spear-din glory. Stalwart eagle-feeders all eager to win renown. Songs they sung loudly so All-Father could listen. When wave-cart stilled and voices waivered. Thor’s light thundered valkyries cried loudly. Sky-man came slowly Standing on shield-disc. The seven, brave, but silent held by mind-bonds. Sky-man beckoned quiet Ulf-kraka broke his bonds. Brave skald went before them holding blood-worm ready. But Sky-man chose another Grim magic bound skald.

Todd Fischer's Poetry: Ardchreag Einvigi
http://poetry.todd-fischer.com/2015/07/ardchreag-einvigi.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. By Todd H C Fischer, June 2015. A squire to the tourney went,. Though arm was sore and élan spent,. For king had called for all to fight,. To show their strength and skill and might. With token from his love, his life,. The squire went to tourney’s strife. Long was the list of honoured foes. All blessing ‘round with mighty blows;. The squire found it hard to rise. But fought on with his trembling thighs;. The love of combat, love of king,. The love of household, all these things,.
