Video project for AEON soundtrack was a non planned job. In fact it started like a try and error video composition testing several techniques with real and synthetic visual materials. The artistical side was focused into some 70’s pioneer sci-fi films. With no doubt some influences came from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 Space Odissey, like the space travelling and the fetal human being. Simulate grain, pixelation and other artifacts to bring back that oldschool texture to the film.

The MEH (Human Evolution Museum) in Burgos (Spain) was an amazing place for the A/V Live. The video projection was screened over a great wide wall, with arounf 8 meters long it allowed to show a full visual experience for the audience. Everything was arranged specially for this event, located in the third floor of the. Museum and with a limited and exclusive capacity for only 100 people. 8220;Parallel” was the main track tittle and also the name of the limited 12” ep released on Frigio Records. This reactive video was created with several layers representing different parallel solutions with a vintage computer graphics style. This job uses a remixing video method triggered with differents parts of the track, mainly the Bassdrum, and Q-Zap which give a dynamic development during the video. The video receives triggering via MIDI and some FFT to activate some layers.

8220;Ansilic” track is Included in the “Quantum” album by Psiloc for the Artificial Domain label. This project experiments with some complex pattern designs and very basical shapes, also a 3D “cloud data” layer is mixed at the background in certain moments when required. All the layout is planned using black and white. Colours except for the random signals represented in red. About the control, the video receives triggering via MIDI and some FFT to activate the layers.

Video project for Citydrome soundtrack was a big 3D project. Lot of hours involved for all the 3D rendering in a big scenario where a ball is followed in its travel around the Citydrome world. All visual textures were made trying to simulate some early vintage computer graphics from the 80’s. Point to the future. This combiantions worked really well in the video as a contrast of the starting point where scenario is clear and simple and the complex shapes of the travelling by Citydrome.

The whole project deals with the pattern concept, repetitive generation of sounds, textures, digital stuff, reactive video layers and keeping up the main goal, music and video as a same element synced and sequenced.
