My wall relief sculptures have been strongly influenced by the work of artist Andrew Goldsworthy. The seemingly random arrangement of objects inspired from nature embellished with painted, sprayed and drawn glazes bring attention to details normally overlooked. The objects and patterns are frozen in time due to the permanent nature of clay. The tall sculptural vases are anthropomorphic and relate to the landscapes suggested by my wall pieces. 151; David H. The Omnibus: September 2013
http://familyomnibus.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Life is full of many things. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Yesterday was a day that the schedule smiled on us. The only thing on the day's schedule was an 8:30 am soccer game for Connor. Done by 9:30 with a full unscheduled day ahead, yes please! This is a big team of boys, which means that at any given time, a healthy number of boys are sitting on the sidelines waiting for a chance to get in the game. When boys are left to sit and wait, sillies happen. Links to this post. Saturday, September 28, 2013.

A Tradition Handed Down Through Generations. A tradition brought forward of hands-on workings literally weaving things together. Beginning in the early 1900’s with our grandfather gathering and weaving willow branches into baskets, our mother working on her large floor looms making rugs, and moving to the present day with the two of us, sisters, we are weaving colorful yarns and fibers into wearable and functional pieces of art.
