Colletti Maria nasce a Caltavuturo nel 1953. Amando l’arte in generale e la pittura in particolare, dopo avere frequentato alcuni anni il liceo artistico, frequenta corsi privati per coltivare, ancor di più, la passione per i dipinti. Nel 2010 espone in varie collettive con elevato riscontro da parte del pubblico e della critica. La sua prima personale è del 2011 a Palermo. Negli anni 2012, 2013 e 2017 allestisce alcune mostre personali a Palermo. Amsterdam (museo Van Gogh). Montecarlo (Hotel de Paris).
