Crazy musings from a creative mind. Monday, September 5, 2011. Potty Time - Part II. Well, there is nothing like a road trip and a few days away from home to see how well potty training is going. I am happy to report that Addison made it the 3 hours of travel (including a stop for dinner) with dry pants (YIPPIEE! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! And this Momma is saying "whew" I think we might be on the home stretch :) I told my husband that if #2 is a boy - Daddy gets to do the potty training ;).

Crazy musings from a creative mind. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Just a few notes. Just a few notes as to how life is going these days:. Addison loves to sing! She curretly sings her ABC's, all of her nursury rhyme cd, Jesus Loves Me, and a few of her own creation. She also has 2 train sets that MUST be running all. the. time. And that doesn't even take into account a couple of things that are going on unrelated to the holidays between now and the end of the year. So, I feel that I'll blink, and bam!

With a new little one on the way, due to arrive in January, I really want Little Girl potty trained so that I only have one in cloth diapers. One in cloth diapers is enough extra laundry. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Day 3 of Foundation Progress. Despite some sweltering heat reaching up to 95 degrees, day #3 of the foundation meant higher walls. Dad sweat in the heat but made progress. Tonight required some "consultation" between Michael and Dad on how high to put the bricks. Blake came to stay a few days for the summer and decided to explore the construction site. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Hot summer heat continues. Work on the house continues despite some of the hottest temperatures imaginable. Dad's been working about 2/3 of day each day putting up the walls. He's nearly got the four outside walls complete. Below you will see the garage lintel that spans the space between the house and garage. These two lintels are very very heavy. Thursday, July 19, 2012. Well, I may not be okay, but Zeke seems to be doing fine. Much of my hospital stay, I can't remember. Drugs I suppose. As time goes on, I think my mind is getting clearer but my incisions become sorer. Despite trying to wean from some of the pain meds, they are an important part of me being able to function, so I'm still taking them. But we keep saying things are going to get better. And they will! Thursday, April 21, 2011. Easter Prep at Mimis. My parents watch the kids for me one day week while I do some bookkeeping work for a church in Staunton. It really works out great {well for me anyways, I assume it does for Mimi and Rog! This week she had them on Monday and she planned several things for the kids to do for Easter! When the older girls were done with school they decorated cupcakes, dyed Easter eggs, had an Easter egg hunt, and got Easter baskets filled with goodies! Not so much for me}.
