She is strongly influenced by Howard Hodgkin and finds that using a bold brush with spectacular colors has become a trademark of her work. One of the questions Leslie asks herself about her work is would she want to see it every day in her own home. If the answer is yes, then she knows her painting is ready to be shown to the world.
