I Blog.: Münchausen Syndrome
http://sarahmsmart.blogspot.com/2010/10/munchausen-syndrome.html
When I went to Indiana for my grandpa's funeral, I started breaking out in nightly hives, mostly under where clothes might rub or fit tightly. One night, even my lips swelled up to Jolie proportions. Was I allergic to Indiana? In any case, I undertook an investigation of the deepest order upon my return home. I typed "hives at night" into Google's powerful search engine, clicked around, added quotes to my query, and finally diagnosed myself with delayed pressure urticaria. Revised and updated in 1903.

I Blog.: DEAR INTERTRON: A Letter to Grandpa
http://sarahmsmart.blogspot.com/2010/10/dear-intertron-letter-to-grandpa.html
DEAR INTERTRON: A Letter to Grandpa. I wanted to write you to say goodbye as I can't be there and I know how hard it is for you to talk on the phone right now. As I contemplate what I'll write, I walk myself through a lot of memories. Reading through these memories will, I hope, bring a smile to your face, and that is how I'd like to bid you farewell. I love you! PS Sorry for my handwriting; I know you always said it was horrible. Sarah M. Smart. Labels: hello grandpa my old friend. Megan (Best of Fates).

Quick updates while I have Internet:. 1 Job is still awesome. I'm working on an interesting watercolor class right now. The only problem is I can hear the teacher swallow on the video all the time, which is kind of gross. 2 Friends are still awesome. We've been going to museums, hanging out, eating and drinking, and just generally having a good time. 5 C passed the first part of the CPA exam! Only three parts to go. 7 I have to get a colonoscopy. It's scheduled for the end of October. Sarah M. Smart.

I Am a Dickhead. This is officially the catchiest song ever, but I feel a little guilty listening to and enjoying it so much. Why? Because I'm pretty sure it's talking about me and possibly my friends. So I've decided to go through the lyrics (except the chorus, obviously) and evaluate each statement. Bear with me. Obligatory New Year's Post. I want this year to be better than the one before. I have to say that 2010 was something of a low point for me. The year was full of mistakes and perhaps a few minor victories. Some things I did:. Dated, maybe too much, with loads of accompanying bad decisions. Started volunteering at SPCA. Made a couple of new friends (and enemies) and reconnected with a couple of old ones. Welcomed a whole mess o' visitors, some more gracious than others. Got a promotion and a raise. 2) I on...

Ladies and gentlemen, we have had two readers step up to the plate with different but somewhat related solutions to the gerbin' problem. Anonymous (way to take credit for your part in solving the most pressing mystery of our time) says this:. Wow, I don't know how he or she knows this, but our Anonymous is a veritable wellspring of knowledge! By way of another possible answer to this problem, KR. Links me to this Wikipedia article. And adds, "It's just a twisted way of saying 'German pancakes.'". Meant M...

I won't be seeing you, 2009. Hello I haven't posted in months. Sorry about all that. I got busy, my life turned upside-down, and I lost motivation. Yet I have been thinking about you, anyone who likes to read regular updates on what I'm up to. So it's back to it. The last day of 2009 seemed a good day to write a goodbye letter to this year. Two thousand nine, it is time for us to move on, you to the annals of history, I to the year 2010. I guess this is goodbye. Sarah M. Smart. Links to this post.
