It's considered the number one phobia/fear of people in our culture, even more than death, financial ruin and having stomach cramps far from a washroom. People hate the idea of having to get up in front of a crowd and talk. Of course there are many who are excellent at it and they don't seem to mind the situation at all but they are the exception not the norm. Why is this I wonder?
