still city sleep: Projects

A Collection of City Thoughts. Part installation, part sociological survey, Between Doors. Invites audiences into an evolving narrative on the nature of choice. What is choice? Are we the sum of our choices? Are we in control of the choices we make, or is choice merely an illusion? Confronted by a series of free-standing doorways, participants are asked to make a choice; for every decision there lies a doorway; through that doorway, another set of doorways; and through that doorway, another set of choices.

paws for thought: Art of the Danforth
http://paws4-thought.blogspot.com/2010/05/art-of-danforth.html
Saturday, May 1, 2010. Art of the Danforth. Here are photos of the photo mosaics we worked on for the Art of the Danforth project. The mosaics (three of them) are hung in the Greenwood, Coxwell and Woddbine subway stations. Unfortunately, they were not placed in good spots, and are not easy to see. In fact, I walked past the one in Coxwell everyday! I have photos in each of the mosaics, but it's not easy to point them out :-). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote Your Page Too. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Creative Writing - hah! So I am taking a creative writing class at George Brown College. Thought it would be a good way to get me into a creative thinking mode. hah! I won't bore you with my full rant of how awful the prof is or how incredibly, mind-numbingly boring the class is. But one of our assignments is to write a haiku - so I wrote two! I hope enjoy them - it was a lot of fun writing them! Photos are from our weekend at Lakeedge Cottages October 4-5. Blood on the holly.

St Marie φ Walker. For this year’s Art Souterrain. Festival in Montreal we presented 6 “Walking” signs, of which we produced 3 new signs in French. We thought these signs worked well with the festival’s theme this year, which was based on the concept of “Foundations”, and we were particularly excited for the opportunity to work in another language.
