I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. According to my mother the first sign of my creativity was when I threaded Cheerios on my shoelaces instead of eating them. Years later, in early childhood, I was enrolled in art classes at the Phoenix Art Museum. After graduating from Art Center College of Design with a B.F.A. in Illustration, I was recruited by Hallmark Cards, Inc. For two years I worked as a greeting card artist at their main headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Check out my blog.
