Marc’s extensive use of animals in his work, and here, rather than presenting a menacing force of nature, the animals coexist at peace, enhancing the feeling of “magical” harmony Marc felt in Merano, the Italian town represented here. Age 14, carries colored pencils and paper with him wherever he goes, just in case he has an opportunity to draw. Although he likes to sketch scenery, lakes and nature, his true love is writing and drawing cartoons. His dream is to work for Pixar. Animation Studios one day. March 13, 2009. Was an exhibition and community programming series about the processes of interpreting history. It was on view at the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage from March 31, 2009–October 2, 2009. The exhibit was curated by Meg Rotzel and Rosemary Branson-Gill.
