No 8: MOOSEWORKS. Overcome by the relentless nostalgie de la boue of Canadian naturalism, he decides to sculpt a moose. In the end, he is dissatisfied with it, finding himself unable to overcome the inescapable fragrance of kitsch-nationalism the creature exudes. No 7: The Oracle. Sometimes, when he was out of ideas, he'd sit by his oracle, which would whisper to him suggestions from the sea. No5: The Garden of Chemical Delights or The Agony of Choice. No 31: Pride Goeth Before a Flaw. Sometimes his intermittent Rodin complex led him to attempt heroic sculpture.  But whenever he entered what he suspected was really the realm of hubris, he felt ridiculous.  Moments after this photo was taken, he took a massive sledgehammer and pounded his new Jeanne d' Arc into powder.
