Community Arts Hub Update. January 14, 2013. For a couple years, the Alberta Cycle Building was converted into a makeshift theatre space, artisan market and The Spoke’s bicycle shop. Then there were plans to renovate the building into a new Community Arts Hub as mentioned in The Avenue. But when crews went in to start renovating they found more structural problems than anticipated and the City was forced to demolish the building, leaving the Community Arts Hub in limbo.
