Saturday, 21 July 2012. SCREEN PRINTING ON SARI. This is my first scrren printing sari for sale. Iam very happy,because the customer also liked my printing work. This is half white(cream) color sari. the material of sari is MALLAYA PATTU.this is very shining material. On this sari, i have used pearl binder with green and maroon colors to print. The pallu of this sari is here. This is maroon color pearl print border. this is also butties all over sari. T his is green color pearl print border.

Monday, 31 October 2011. For kamal kadai work we use cone thread preferably 2 shaded. This. Is the most beautiful stitch in hand embroidery of Andhra/India. Kamal work also called allika kuttu(weaving stitch). Its beauty really challenges one who love embroidery.The procedure for stitching is of the weaving technique. We stitch vertical lines and weave on them. Selecting colours are very important for this stitch. For kamal work use cone threads only shaded or single color. On my mother's saree.

Sunday, 17 June 2012. Cross stitch parrots,butterflies. I have so many bed sheets, pillow covers which are embroidered with the Matty work/counted cross stitch. Matty cloth is also called as Aida. This embroidery is not done by me. This is done by my own aunt. She has done more embroideries like this. The bed sheet design is here. Sorry i am little poor in photography.
