                                    The Art Teacher's Closet. Monday, February 10, 2014. I saw this idea on Mary Making. And loved how they looked. I wanted to focus on how to use one material, the chalk pastel, and create two textures. The nebulae had to have a rough texture while the planets had to have a smooth one. These were so striking when finished! Here are my first graders snowmen. We worked on them piece by piece and glued a piece of foam craft in between each circle to give them some dimension.
