About my life knitting, quilting and taking care of children. Tuesday, December 4, 2012. I have gone a little crazy with my latest project. It is called Insomnia. By Kalinumba My daughter had a tiger costume for her band season this year. When I went looking for something tiger related to knit for her I found this. It was spectacular! I had never used double knitting before but it was not too hard to learn. It just takes concentration to do. Here is what I have finished so far. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Stitch Ways: June 2011
http://stitchways.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
About my life knitting, quilting and taking care of children. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Here is one of the things I finished on my Blogging hiatus. By Amy Swenson. It is a cute little bolero made from Debbie Bliss Eco Cotton for my daughter. Their dress code at school does not allow for bare shoulders so she wanted this to wear over some of her more interesting tank tops. I think she looks really adorable. Labels: knit bolero cotton. About my life knitting, quilting and taking care of children. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. One of my patterns, Twisted Mockery, was included in the trial version of Knit Companion. This is a great app for the IPad. You import your PDF patterns into it and use it as you knit. The patterns become very interactive. You can highlight your charts as you work on them. You should really go check it out! I have been playing with it and can't wait to knit with it. Labels: Knitcompanion knit IPad app. A Life of Colour.

I did get some wonderful yarns this summer. First off was the June shipments from Cookie A, "Oh My Darling" from Hazel Knits. And Janel Laidman, Madelinetosh. Then there were the August shipments from them too. Metamorphosis in Sugar Jets from A Verb For Keeping Warm was the Cookie A treat. View my complete profile.
