Tuesday, May 12, 2015. What I've read lately. I was a reading machine this month! This is probably the most I've read in a month EVER! I'm actually really proud of that. lol! Also, I've already hit my Goodreads goal. For the year.so that's crazy. Next year, I will have to pick a higher number. Joan studied at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the American Academy of Art, Chicago, Illinois, receiving degrees in both Fine Art and Commercial Art. After working in the commercial field for 5 years, in 1969 she moved on to specialize in pastel, watercolor and colored pencil. She has also participated in other National and Regional shows where she has won numerous “Best of Show”, “First Place”, and “Purchase Awards”.
