Monday, October 26, 2015. Moving closer to finishing. Moving right along on Willa's story, I completed two black and white part of the illustrations. The lessons continue with how to behave on the beach. In this illustration, the parents are teaching the chick where to hid from danger. Thursday, July 21, 2011. July 21, 2011 in the studio. After selling my monotypes at the last art show, I had to get back to work. I have been watching an interesting leave pattern. I knew it would soon be mowed down so I didn’t feel bad gathering it up. I did learn it is important to take these plants right back to the studio. They wilted before the session began. Here is an idea of what the process looks like. Here is my press doing its job. I love the idea of part of nature captured in the monotype.

Tuesday, September 22, 2015. September 21 meeting with Ga Sea Turtle Center staffe. My story is at the point where I need a few people to review it and get some ideas of where I am in the work. With that in mind, I meet with Katie Higgins and Lori Hunt. Lori illustrated Scute's Grand Adventure for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Katie is a writer and educators.
