Trying to Stay Sane While Losing My Mind. Created on 19 February 2004 (#2267367). Last updated on 2 November 2016. LIVEJOURNAL IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE. MY BEST FRIENDS ARE HERE. LiveJournal is my outlet for expression:. The frustration and anger I feel about my changing life, mind and body. The joys I find in simple and not-so-simple things. The grief over losses, both big and small. Journal-writing has always been a part of my mental health since childhood. As a therapist, I always encourage...

An Appalachian Bear's Book Den. A blog of all the books that I've read. Please bear in mind that I do not suffer through books that don't engage me or those that aren't well written, so you won't see books rated very low on my 1-10 scale. I read mostly 10's and 9's, with a few 8's thrown in there for good measure! Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Kat, formerly known as QuilterBear. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Appalachian Quilter's Blog: NOTICE~ Please read
http://appalachianquilter.blogspot.com/2012/10/notice-please-read.html
An Appalachian Quilter's Blog. THANKS for stopping by! I'm a fairly new quilter (4 years) who lives in the Heart of the Appalachian Mountains. This blog features quilts that I have pieced, some that my quilting husband has professionally quilted for me, and thoughts about quilting, fabric, patterns, and more! I'm a traditionalist for the most part, focusing mainly on patchwork and scrappy quilts. I love making new friends! Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Kat, also known as QuilterBear.

Getting ready for LYA 2016. February 22, 2016. It’s that time of year again! Time for the Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap as organized by the amazing and wonderful Kat Sloma of Katseyestudio. This is my *5th* year of participating! This year I am still dreaming of Hawaii… although we have no plans to visit in 2016, we did visit twice last year. And I had some lovely experiences with the ukulele… which has become a happy hobby. And I decided to play around with this phrase. From my class art journal.
