artyfartykat: February 2011
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Thursday, February 24, 2011. The problem with having a room for all my crafting goodies is its just too easy to stash another purchase in, and think, 'well I'll use up the other stuff first' and then close the door. Then I buy something else, think 'well I'll use up the other stuff first' and.you get the picture! And decided to start a small project. I decided on some mindless socks in a Posh Yarn of long forgotton colourway. I have also...

http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2013/06/im-alive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Sunday, June 23, 2013. I know.it is a bit of a shock! It's been a long while since I posted, but the urge just came over me! I wanted to post a photo of the cushion I made for Junes birthday. It;s patchwork, in a design called cathedral window, I believe. I love this design and really enjoyed stitching it. I find hand stitching so relaxing.making the cushion was slightly more stressful! I must learn how to do zips! From the sheeps back.
artyfartykat: Out Of Quarantine!
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2009/08/out-of-quarantine.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Saturday, August 15, 2009. I'm now officially swine flu free and to celebrate the fact, we took off on a last minute camping trip to Ullswater! Yes I did say camping, not the luxury of the caravan or even a tent that you could sit up in but a tent about the size of a coffin! It was supposedly a 2 man size tent but I'm thinking of sueing them under the Trade Descriptions Act! We were like sardines in a tin but with not as much space!

artyfartykat: Half A Century And Not Out!
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2011/02/half-century-and-not-out.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Half A Century And Not Out! Due to a recent birthday, I am now entitled to life insurance without a medical, special deals with Saga, I have joints that are more accurate weather forecasters than the BBC and I would be likely to be released first in a hostage situation, so who said getting older was all doom and gloom! But it was worth it! What a fantastic cake! Tuesday, February 15, 2011 6:17:00 pm. And Im su...

Curly Cable: October 2007
http://curlycable.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 23 October 2007. Ahoy We have Tidal Waves. Yes, At last I have actually another FO, these are the Tidal Waves that I was making from the yarn that came with the second of the STR 2007 club kit. I really love these, as they are so soft and silky to the touch. Here is a close up of the patterned cuff. Anyway as mentioned last post, I have had these two books arrive. The other book is called Knit,Knit, a interesting but rather unusual book. I bought this purposely for the lovely. Links to this post.

Claire's Wooly Thoughts and other ramblings. Monday, 11 July 2011. New Pattern - Bassenthwaite Shawlette. Bassenthwaite is the only Lake in the English Lake District – all the other bodies of water commonly referred to as lakes, such as Coniston and Windermere are meres or waters! We love the Lake District, and have holidayed a few times on the shores of Derwentwater, always making the short trip north to Bassenthwaite to walk in the woods, or try to spy the Lake District Ospreys. Lovely pattern, Claire,...
