The Story of Stuff. 前陣子朋友告訴我這個網站，一個很特別的網站，進去後不會讓我急著尋找導覽列進入下一頁，反而是被上頭的動畫吸引，直接觀賞起The Story of Stuff。 動畫創作者是美國一位致力於環保議題的女性講者，由於曾在綠色和平組織任職，遊歷過許多國家，看到資本主義造成的影響，因此在2007年時將這個輕鬆易懂，甚至帶點幽默口吻的影片放到網站上。這個網站至今已有超過六百萬的造訪人次，以及上百萬人的YouTube點閱數，美國甚至開始根據影片內容來編寫環保主題的課程教材。 很了不起也很偉大的想法，透過網路、透過好的設計，一點一滴地傳播出去，對世界產生影響。有些支持資本主義的反對聲音不免出現，但不論影片描述事實的真實度為多少，重點是當我們看完影片後，會開始在心中打個問號，毫無止盡的消費循環、第三世界的犧牲，真的是我們唯一能做的嗎？ A Cautionary Video About America's 'Stuff'. 最近聽朋友提到蔡永和先生的作品，在上海一間公司的藝術廊道展出，不同於一般單純的商業攝影，而是賦予商品的藝術價值（ 這裡. 65289;。看了部落格的照片後，覺得很不過癮，上網一查，他的作品恰巧正在新竹的絕版影像館展覽。 絕版影像館是今年初剛成立的藝廊，展覽作品以影像藝術（攝影照片）為主，創立目的是為了提振台灣攝影在藝術界的地位，因此創辦人不計成本的把它當作文化事業來經營，作為退休後的職涯第二春。除了對攝影主題的堅持外，展場在各方面都可說是台灣藝廊的先驅，像是預約參觀、入館須脫鞋等，但完全不會讓人感覺麻煩或不舒服，反而能照顧到每一位觀者的感受。這棟藏匿在小巷裡的展覽館是創辦人廖益嘉先生的舊居，保留了原本的味道和格局，僅重新粉刷和些微的設計，因此整個空間結合了新式建築的寬敞明亮和古早的氣息。 一樓是蔡永和先生的作品，二樓和地下一樓則是廖益嘉先生的作品，兩人的風格截然不同，由於該館是由廖先生創立，因此作品即成為該館的常駐展。 65292;這樣的呈現方式，很容易聯想到軟體本身的特效功能。 影像館只賣絕版品 「攝」住藝術價值. 65292;能夠做出油畫、水彩等各種效果（ 這裡. 我這些作品，雖然有著...

Sunday, May 23, 2010. I've been working on making these polymer clay mosaic tiles the past few days. It's kind of addictive and I am really having fun with these. They are a little time consuming but that's okay. Here I've laid them out around a mirror to see how they might look as a frame.
