Wednesday, September 29, 2010. 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/2 cup granulated white sugar. 1/2 cup crushed pineapple juice. 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 cup sliced almonds. Preheat oven to 350 deg F (175 deg C). Grease muffin pan with butter or line up with muffin liners. Pour into prepared muffin pan upto 2/3 level full and sprinkle rest of the almonds over the top.

It literally means almond (Mandel) bread (brot). I found this recipe while I was searching for Italian biscotti and I thought I should just do this. I used granulated white sugar in these biscuits, however, the original recipe calls for superfine castor sugar. All purpose flour : 3 1/4 cups. Ground Almonds : 1 cupvb nmn.

Peel bananas and cut them in half crosswise. Insert a wooden skewer or popsicle stick into each banana half and place them on a plate lined with parchment paper and freeze for about 15 to 20 minutes. Coriander powder : 1/4 tsp. Chopped coriander : 1 tbsp. Oil : for deep frying. Cut the bajjis into 1" pieces horizontally. We may get 3 to 4 pieces out of each bajji. Transfer them to a paper towel to absorb excess oil and then to a serving bowl. Sprinkle rock salt, coriander powder, chopped coriander and onions.
