http://trace-marks.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, 25 July 2015. I have been away from my blog for two calendar months - but not away from the studio. In fact I have been working quite hard on and off, getting ready for the big exhibition later this year. What has kept me from the blog has been my health as I have saved all my energy and focus for main job at hand - completing some work. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). tracemarks: Artist Statement
http://trace-marks.blogspot.com/p/artist-statement.html
I love work that seizes me by the heart and makes me pay attention yet work that slips in slowly and surprisingly resonates equally. In my own art practice I am concerned more with the underlying cadence than mere artifice - I consciously let go of the formed image and allow the marks or imagination to take over. Look beneath the surface. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to my occasional newsletter. View my complete profile. An abundance of green . To Italy and fortresses and lake sojourns . Drawing...

Thursday, 23 October 2014. What colour is green . It takes nature to bring this much colour into my blog . big gulps of fresh green after my busy couple of months leading up to the Open studio days which have been and gone. Two happy and successful days which made the effort worthwhile and so many interested people who have no idea about the practices of printmakers and book artists who were keen to ask questions and learn. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Orange Circles Fabric and More Giveaway News. Last night, I finally finished the Orange Circles giveaway fabric. For the last layer of printing, I flipped the milk top over and printed with the concentric ring design on the inside of the top. I really like the results.so simple.using just two "found" objects I had in my house- -a milk bottle top and a C battery. This is just one of many ideas I have in store for you in my book, Fabric Printing at Home. Posted by Thread Born.

tracemarks: a map of me and my place ......
http://trace-marks.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-map-of-me-and-my-place.html
Tuesday, 12 May 2015. A map of me and my place . Mapping 'my place' - the image is not as yellow as this, just really aged. I am feeling the need to include some of the pieces. Missing from my life now, by including marks and images which will represent some of the major happenings in my life since moving here towards the end of April 2010. By pieces. Heading for the bin - though some of the ideas I will re use. Blending and bleeding with conte - one of my favourite tools. More possibilities I think....

http://trace-marks.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 27 January 2015. Belatedly . happy new year. There are many commitments lined up before I can begin work on the Noosa Exhibition which is later this year and the most pressing is three books for an exhibition of 8 book artists, 4 from South East Queensland and 4 from up around Cairns. The books will be exhibited in two venues - up north and in Brisbane. I like to think these look a little 'Anselm Kieferish'! So, not a very long or exciting post, but I was so determined to get in before this mont...
