Asami Akinaga was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1987. At the age of two, she and her family emigrated to the beautiful and diverse Bay Area of California. In 2013, she received her BFA in Illustration from San Jose State University. Some of the objects are too fragile to allow the public to handle which is why we're making the models. The wonderful Jared Mills did my texture for me. He was able to do it in less than a day.
