A Sartorial Statement

Friday, July 31, 2015. RSV Ladies' Retreat - Day 3: Sewing, Archery, Sewing, Writing, and More Sewing. Happy sigh* It was so lovely to stay in such a beautiful house on such lovely grounds, and to wake up each morning to a magnificent view of the river out of any given window at the back of the house. This is how I woke up. I do so love rag curls! After another delicious breakfast (ham, eggs, fresh fruit, fresh bread), I resumed my sewing again. All I need is a sunny window! Photo by Bonnie Britz. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. As many of you will remember, I was very busy this spring with making a Regency suit of clothes for Brian the Engineer. Asartorial in Vancouver

Wednesday, March 19, 2008. I was in London at the end of January. I stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in what turned out to be the digs of one of London’s most fashionable neighbourhoods, Belgravia. Our accommodations were right around the corner from the ridiculously opulent Harrods department store (think Trump Towers x ten), Buckingham Palace and the not to be missed Serpentine Gallery, which was well worth the walk through Hyde Park. When in Belgravia I was looking for signs of life and style.
