Mis amigas, Sara, Emily y yo, fuemos a bus a Oruro. We took a bus to Oruro, and from there we went to Uyuni. It was a long day of travel. August 26, 2016. Torotoro and Santa Cruz! Wednesday night my friend Elles and I made our way to Torotoro, a 4 hour drive from Cochabamba. Spent the night in hopes of seeing the caverns and hiking the next day. We crawled at some points, slid down smooth rocks at others, and even rapelled down rock faces with ropes. And this road is pretty much all downhill from La Paz. And the reson for its name? It is a narrow dirt road, only allowable for one car going on direction. On the edge of a cliff…. August 6, 2016. August 6, 2016. This past weekend was spent in the beautiful city of Copacabana and Lake Titticaca. Cool name right! And guess what: no transportation problems! Got to the bus station Friday night, took the night bus to La Paz, took another 4hr bus to Copacabana, and a 2 hour boat ride to Isla del Sol! Total travel time this weekend: 26 horas.
