It was pretty big but friendly and we decided to see if we could build a home for it. It was great fun and produced some beautiful pieces of art as you can see. Thursday, 12 January 2017. This week for our Second Art lesson we learned how to use a knife safely and cut fruits on our cutting board to make a fruit salad. WEEKLY UPDATE week 2. This week, we reviewed our camera words. After the holiday the students needed a review week so we played games and reviewed all the camera words learned last term. Next week, we will start unit 3 and learned the letter sounds ‘e’ and ‘n’. We will blend and review the words from unit 1 and 2. Where can we find vegetables?

Thursday, 12 January 2017. We had a really fun week growing plants and selling them in our very own farm shop! The kids enjoyed shopping and paying for their food. Our new friend Raya really enjoyed being the shopkeeper! For Science, we also enjoyed growing our own bean plants. Monday, June 29, 2015. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Reading with Year 3. As I'm sure your aware, RP have been developed so far in their reading skills it was due time they had some experience reading with older children. We spent some time with 3H practicing reading. Reception read what they could, and the year 3 children interjected when necessary. Children worked in small groups and had a great time. As a learning experience, it is invaluable to have an elder peer to work with. We hope to see you again 3H!

Monday, 9 January 2017. Week Beginning: 3rd January 2017. Last week was a fun week with the opening of our role play airport in our classroom. This has been a huge success with many full planes ready for take off! The children have also been able to book tickets, put luggage through a scanning machine and go shopping in our duty free shop.
